Wholesale Products

Where to find wholesale products and suppliers

In today’s business world of lots and lots of competitors you need to find your point of difference that sets you apart from those competitors.  And guess what – it’s not always about price as so many people seem to think.  Price is just one factor that contributes to your point of difference.

I firmly believe your point of difference should be in your Customer Service. We live in a society whereby good customer service is sometimes hard to come by – but it doesn’t have to be that way!

Customer Service should be in the culture of your business.  Whether it is just you and a couple of employees you need to instill a superb customer service culture – you can’t afford not to!

I have developed a Customer Service Standard as follows:

Care for your customer
Understand your customers’ needs
Sell yourself to your customer
Time manage your customer
Open and honest communication with your customer
Manage the interaction with your customer
Empathise with your customer
Reiterate back to the customer what you are going to do

Share your experience with your customer
Encourage your customer to contact you
Revisit past customers
Verify what your customer actually wants
Initiate the conversation with your customer
Communicate professionally with your customer
Enjoy the opportunity to help your customer

If you and your staff follow these Customer Service tips you will see a remarkable improvement in the way your customers see you and your business.

Today, I have a question for you: Who do you work for? Let me give you a hint – there is only one answer, and it doesn’t matter what your job is. Give up? Ok, here it is. You work for yourself – for your own gain and your own benefit.  Now this idea has tremendous implications. First, if you work for yourself, you do the best job you can – to do less than that is to cheat yourself.

Second, it’s an interesting fact that the better you do your job, the more you enjoy it. The reverse is also true: If you become careless and apathetic, you will find your enjoyment level dropping.

And speaking of enjoyment, if you work for yourself, why not enjoy it? There is no reason why work can’t be fun, no matter what the task is. There is real enjoyment in finding out that you can do more than you thought you could, and in helping others succeed and do a good job, too.

If you work for yourself, you have a long-term view. You see each job as a learning experience and a path to bigger and better things, rather than simply a way to pay the bills.  And if you work for yourself, you know that you are your most valuable asset, so you invest in yourself and care for yourself accordingly. You manage your time well so that you become even more valuable, and you deliberately build your self-esteem and self-efficacy so you can perform at higher and higher levels.

The best decision and the most scariest one I ever made was starting my own business.  As the old saying goes, “If it’s going to be, then it’s up to me!”

So, who do you work for?

Welcome to all

Firstly, let me say a big thank you to my customers and friends, who have all encouraged me to start this blog and share my experiences with starting and running a successful online business.

There is a process in starting a business selling products and that is finding what people are buying!

Buying products off the internet is becoming the norm much more these days, as people are becoming more internet savvy.  Anything that can save you time and money is something worth considering.

Starting and running a business is not easy, but very achieveable if you have the right tools and especially the right attitude.  It is not a get rich quick business.  It takes time, effort and hard work, but working hard to make yourself wealthy rather than working hard to make someone else rich is very motivating.

My aim for this blog is to provide relevant information for starting and running your online business, so feel free to contact me anytime.

Regards
Damien
